Where Are we on God’s Prophetic Timetable?
Daniel’s 70th Week!
Here is something you must understand about the Bible to understand where we are on God’s Prophetic Timetable. The Chosen People Of God, consist of two different people groups, a Spiritual people, the Church, The Bride Of Christ and a physical people, the Nation Of Israel. Both of these are the Seed of Abraham… God’s Covenant people.
We are right now in the Church Age, “the Times Of The Gentiles”.
In Daniel 9, Daniel was given a Prophetic Word …. Of The Timing When Jesus, their Messiah would appear in His first coming.
He was told that this timing would be 70 weeks of years or 70 Sevens Of years or 490 years. These years, he was told would accomplish 7 things.
1. The Rebuilding Of the 2nd Temple (which took place in the first 49 years).
2. To finish Transgression or rebellions Israel
3. To Put an End of Sin
4. To Atone for Wickedness
5. To Bring an Everlasting Righteousness
6. To Seal up the Vision
7. To Anoint the Most High
So he was told in first 7 of 7 yrs Cycle the 2nd temple would be rebuilt and it was.
Then Daniel was told 62 of 7 years Cycle The Messiah would come and He did.. to the year!
So 49 yrs to building the temple + 434 yrs to Jesus the Messiah = 483 yrs of the 490 are now fulfilled.
Now, it says in the Prophetic Word that The Messiah would be cut off before fulfilling the last 7 years…
We know that Jesus came and Israel did not receive him as Messiah and he was cut off .. They Crucified Him.
Jesus was crucified and we enter the Church Age! All of the above 7 thing were fulfilled in Spiritual Israel, the Church but are yet to be fulfilled in Physical Israel in The Messianic Kingdom… where King Jesus will be Seated on the Throne Of David in Jerusalem, where the Kingdoms Of this world will become the Kingdoms Of Our God!
That being said, leaves 7 years of this 490 years unfulfilled, and is yet in our future… when the “Church age” or The Time Of The Gentiles” are fulfilled.
So according to Romans 11 God Is not finished with the Nation Of Israel.
And when “The Time Of Gentiles” is fulfilled, God will then turn to the Nation Israel, His Physical people, for the period of those 7 years that are left to be fulfill in Daniel 9 and bring about the end of this age… known in the Bible as the “The Time Of Jacob’s Trouble”, or what we know as “The Great Tribulation”, the time period that causes the Nation Of Israel’s blindness of their eyes to fall off and receive Jesus as their Messiah.
There are some that believe that Daniel’s 70th week Of 7 years and Mathew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13 had already taken place in 70AD but that was only the first stage of the judgement on Israel for not receiving Jesus as Messiah, that caused them to be scattered into all nations.
Now, in these 3 chapters we see that first part took place and final part is now being fulfilled as the FigTree (Israel) being Reborn (1948) and Jerusalem being trodden down by Gentile Nation and after 2000 years Jerusalem is back in the hands of the Israeli people (1967) signifying the end of the Church Age and a Generation with an appointment with destiny!
So, where are we? We are coming to the end of the Church Age … and heading into a New Prophetic Cycle … The Messianic Age … The Time Of Gentiles is closing … the FigTree has put forth it’s leaves, Jerusalem is part of the home land… Jesus said when you see these things, recognize… “I am at the door! “
